Ruby Anniversary Card

Hello again, I’m back to share my latest Card Therapy, a request for a custom Ruby Anniversary card, including two keepsake bookmarks. Ruby means I get to use my favourite red pearlised card! I decided to go for an 8″ x 8″ as you can fit so much more on it than a 6″ square. It’s my new preferred card size, more space to play with.

This is the closed view, as you can see I made a french door style!

Ruby Wedding AnniversaryI have used the Hunkydory Celebration Clearly Stamp and embossed the champagne glasses and sentiment in gold. The decorative corners are Stephanie Weightman Victorian Corners.

The wooden hearts were gold embossed on the outside and I coloured the inner hearts with a Promarker and double clear embossed over the top. I have also used two different widths of a dark red organza ribbon over the top right and bottom left corners to embellish and added the same ribbon to the bookmarks inside.

Bookmark pocket

On the inside of the french doors (!) I created matching bookmark pockets, with a bookmark echoing the card design. The sentiment was simply printed from my computer and matted and layered on cream pearlised paper with the red and gold cardstock.

His and hers bookmarks were requested so I have put the recipients initials on the back of the bookmarks to differentiate.

Hope they like it!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for looking,
