Pretty in Pink Birthday Card

I feel I should confess to succumbing to temptation and buying a onesie – the adult version of babygro. Well, it was on offer, plus it looked soooo comfy. It is a bit of a guilty pleasure, as I’m far too old for such nonsense but it’s definitely cosy! I didn’t count on the hazards of needing to empty your bladder though, firstly negotiating your way out of the thing and then accidentally leaving the sleeves dangling behind you… Luckily my weakened-by-childbirth pelvic floor muscles reacted in good time. I have also persuaded my husband into his very first set of pyjamas. What a pair we make. I won’t post a photo.

I will however, share my pink birthday card creation for the second of the past weekend’s birthday parties!

Dainty Dancing

I made my own card blank again, using two 5×7″ cards and creating ‘doors’ at the front. I covered the front with pink pearl card. The image is another LOTV mini masterpiece of the image ‘Dainty Dancing‘, put together with die-cut Spellbinders circles and stately circles, layered onto some beautiful silver card punched with Martha Stewart Deep Edge Punch Flower Bed. I had wanted to put the little girl’s name on it too but ran out of space. Liquid pearls edged the image beautifully.

And this is how it looks opened up on display:

I would like to enter this card into the LOTV Monthly Challenge – Pink And White.
