End of a tough week for me, as hubby has taken the day off tomorrow so our weekend starts now! The little one gave me a couple of sleepless nights at the start of the week, worrying about him, listening to his resps and waiting for his raging fever to subside. I once witnessed a febrile convulsion and it has always stayed with me. The fear of it happening to my children is always prevalent whenever they have a high fever. Thankfully, we’ve turned a corner now and the fevers have gone, just a nasty cough left. Of course, our eldest was disturbed at night too, felt a bit left out in the attention department, and borrowed a few of his brother’s bugs to even things up. So I kept them both home today, and they played equal parts little darlings and little horrors, until they wore me out (but not themselves). Of course my children’s health and happiness is essential to my well-being, but I have really missed my Card Therapy this week. I have worked on the website in the evenings and sorted a few of our technical hitches and managed to list a few more products so I am pleased with those achievements. However I feel very behind in lots of other areas, emails not sent, fridge empty, etc etc. Catch-up weekend now, although not tomorrow! We’re visiting a friend I’ve not seen for eighteen months, but known for 20+ years, and it’s one of those relationships where time doesn’t matter. I love that, it feels very honest.
I want to share another Valentine’s/ anniversary card I made last week, although I’m not too sure about it, thanks to DH again, who advised me not to give it to him. Charming!
I wanted to make something that had a keepsake as part of it, so made a bookmark, then made the card to fit. Probably not the best way to go about it but then again, what does it matter, it’s all therapeutic anyway – creative experimenting!
I think it’s quite lovely, it’s made with love and it would be given with love, so that’s how I view it! What do you think?
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Ooops it’s got late!
Have a lovely weekend,
