Tuesday already, thank goodness, as I’ve had a rocky couple of days but seem to have woken up brighter again this morning. Not sure why though as we seemed to be having an all night party with our two last night, I think we’ve had 8 hours sleep between the four of us. There’s going to be a whole new level of grumpiness in this house at tea-time today. You think when the baby years are over, you’ll catch up on all that lost sleep, but I’m not sure you ever do!!! Feel free to set me straight somebody… Anyway little one all better and everyone off out the door, so it’s catch up day for me. Now, where to start on that very long job list…
Two invitations recently meant birthday cards required quick for two weekends of 4th birthday parties. The first was a bit of cheat using a pre-coloured topper from LOTV but I really had run out of hours in the day.
I had a little more time for the second card, and utilised a light evening after the boys were in bed to do the stamping and colouring. I’m usually fit for nothing after their bedtime, but had a little spare battery power left that day so made the most of it!
Similar format with an easy 6″ square blank and used Spellbinders Lacey Squares behind the main image. This stamp is ‘Scooter Boy‘ by LOTV. I picked the papers from ‘Bear Necessities‘ and then chose the Promarkers to match for colouring the image. There are a few pink stripes in the paper but the lighting is not great on this photo so not very clear to pick out.
I had chosen a light silver card blank for this base, so didn’t think it looked right with the Craftwork Cards sentiment left white. I inked it over with Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue and Memento Angel Pink and really liked the way it turned out.
I would like to enter my second card into the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers Challenge Blog – Whatever the Weather – My link to theme: My boys want to go out scootering whatever the weather!!!
As You Like It Challenge Blog – Fur or Feathers? – Got to be fur! Because little furry animals make a cute addition to any card, and children love them more than feathered friends I think, so they’re perfect on children’s cards.

Better get on, thanks for reading and have a good day,
