Batch 2 & 3 – Embossed Bublé, sorry, Baubles

Last morning of nursery with an early pick-up today so just having some final quiet moments before the chaos ensues. The soundtrack to my card therapy over the last couple of weeks has been Michael Bublé‘s Christmas cd:

His voice is like a mouthful of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, if you know what I mean.

It’s not quite the same when I’ve got it on in the kitchen and the kids are scrapping in the living room/lounge/living lounge (see Stressless Frosty Christmas Card!), but it helps!

I’d never noticed this line before in ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ (Meredith Wilson) but when he sings ‘And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again’, it makes me smile a parental smile every time and it feels like a little hug from Michael himself. It proves to me that many generations of parents sometimes just need a bit of peace and it’s okay!

Oh and I am Shania Twain during ‘White Christmas’ (it’s a duet with MB), I love it! It’s an upbeat boppy version. I highly recommend this cd if you haven’t go it!

So here are my next batches of Christmas cards I made:

Christmas baubles

Spellbinders Lacey Squares combined with LOTV ‘Festive Decorations‘ stamp embossed with a fine gold powder and embellished with crystal Stickles and Anita’s ribbon.

Close up embossed baublesand a purple version:
