Cracking on with Christmas

It’s been a goal of mine for about the last 3 years to get started with making Christmas cards in January, and this year I have finally achieved it! Others may well groan, but I adore Christmas crafting and so wanted to craft in a relaxed state without time pressures, as opposed to trying to make 50 cards at the end of November, or worse still, like the Christmas just gone – running out of time all together and not making a single one…

So I’ve been busy cracking on with Christmas and have already made eight cards. The five I am showing here are made with Hobbycraft Kraft 6×6″ card blanks, the scrumptious Craftwork cards ‘Festive Chalkboard’ range and the Woodware ‘Sparkle and Shine’ Christmas tree stamp¬†decorated with an array of card Candi, Stickles, pearls and Liquid Pearls.

I think my favourite is the tartan with the little robin. Really love this collection!

  1. Hi Emma…..good to see you back in blog land and crafting too! hard to pick a winner with this fabulous selection…making me feel very guilty as like you I said I would start in January making the Christmas Cards…but guess what..not one done. I admit to finding it hard to think about Christmas just yet!. You have certainly been busy on a roll and they look wonderful. Love the sparkle and shine on the tree and you have showcases those papers so well. Hope all OK with you and yours at your end. Hugs xx
