Birthday Girl

Another party this weekend for our social butterflies which meant a spot of card therapy for me. This time for a little girl which makes a nice change! I had the perfect stamp just waiting for such an opportunity, another cute LOTV – ‘Wish Upon A Star‘. I bought this whilst at the Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza¬†earlier this year, although when I got home it wasn’t in my bag so I think it must have been left on the stand. LOTV sent me a replacement, no quibbles, which I thought was very good of them. They get the gold star for customer service from me!

I decided to use a small scallop card blank – only 120cm x 120cm – for this one but I really found it difficult to be restricted on space. In the end I couldn’t find a spot for the sentiment so used a glittery peel-off inside the card instead. Looking at it now I probably should have made a smaller number 4!

I also used some lovely graduated Papermania ‘Midnight Fairytale‘ paper which matched my Promarker colours perfectly and coordinated it with Papermania mini polka buttons.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday – Challenge 258 – Pretty in Pink

In The Pink – Challenge 27 – KISS (Keep It Sweet & Simple)

Bearly Mine – Challenge 102 – Anything Goes (my second entry)

Hope the little girl in question likes it!
